Let me tell you an interesting fact that reports say that everyday at least 5 new youtubers are born though this increases the competition but it also brings opportunities for you let me tell how. To understand this in a better way just think that who comments on your video if you are new youtuber I think only a few who are very close to you do so similarly if you comment on someone's video who is a new youtuber then he might think that who you are and to know that he may visit your channel with the help of your comment furthermore if he likes any of your title or thumbnail then he will see that video and if that video is nice enough then he might subscribe you and become your permanent member this way you can get viewers and subscribers only by commenting on videos.
But yes you should read these points before using this tip -

1. Its not that everyone will visit your channel or subscribe it so don't lose hope if you don't find any result in first few attempts just give comments to 10 videos everyday and then in most of the cases you will at least get 2 to 3 subscribers.
2. Check the video you are commenting to means don't make any irrelevant comment and in order to do so you should watch the video before commenting.
3. Make sure that the video you are commenting on is in someway related to your genre so that atleast  the uploader likes the genre you post videos for and he becomes your viewer.
4. Never give links to your channel in the comment YouTube might block you now you might think that then how will the uploader see your channel its very use just comment  from the same channel and then the uploader can click on your comment to visit you.
